How do I get started?
From the home page, click on locations and find a Bay Area Self Storage facility nearest you. You can reserve a space online, request more information or call the location and request a free quote.
What types of storage do you offer?
We welcome both Household Storage and Business Storage customers. Storage units are available for furniture, file cabinets, seasonal lawn and garden equipment, documents, office furniture, vehicles and motorcycles can be stored and easily accessible.
What kind of security features do you offer?
We offer state-of-the-art security systems, including :Security Camera Surveillance and Computer Controlled Access.
What are your unit sizes?
Unit sizes range from approximately 5x5 to 10x50 and about 10'-15' high. Ask our Storage Professionals what size of unit best suits your needs or use our Storage Calculator to determine the right size space for you.
Do I have to sign a long-term storage contact?
Not at Bay Area Self Storage. Our contracts are on a month-to-month basis, and we offer many convenient payment features including; Auto Debit, Checks, All Major Credit Cards and Money Orders.
Do you provide hand carts to help me move my things?
Hand carts are available at each facility to assist with your move-in.
Do I need storage insurance?
We do recommend you consult with your renter's or homeowner's insurance as some policies will cover a storage unit. You do have an option to self insure. It's always recommended to insure your items so please ask one of our friendly staff to provide you with a brochure or see your insurance carrier for assistance.
Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?
Bay Area Self Storage offers indoor storage for vehicles, motorcycles, watercraft toys and small boats at select facilities with a fire sprinkler system. Please call a manager for additional requirements.
What's the difference between access hours and office hours?
Office hours indicate the presence of a Property Manager who provides in-person customer service, such as accepting payments, answering questions, selling supplies, etc. During access hours, you can use your gate code to access your storage unit, but a Property Manager may not be on hand to assist you.
